Inspired by the Roman Opera and famous Opera singer, Maria Callas, Valentino’s Spring 2014 Collection is all about thick embroidery and lace work. Creative Directors  Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli incorporated bright folkloric prints onto black silhouettes.

Bubble-gum blues and pinks, neatly woven into matching crop jackets and full-length dresses, dazzled like bits of crystalized candy. The ravishing maxi dresses- colored in plum purple and royal red- were adorned with fringe bags, leather cuffs and  chunky gold-incrusted jewelry.

However, the highlight of the Spring 2014 Collection was the scarab embellished flat sandals! The craftsmanship behind the shoes and each piece is masterful and truly eye- catching!
